OK2 HEALTH APPS LLC (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Company”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of users of Chess.ing, our mobile and web chess application (the “Application” or “Service”). We created this Privacy Policy to give you (“you,” “your,” or “user”) confidence as you visit and use our Application, and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy.

This Privacy Policy describes how Chess.ing collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile and web chess application and related services. By using Chess.ing, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

BY USING THE APPLICATION, YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO THE TERMS OF, THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY STOP USING THE APPLICATION.

Each time you use the Application, the then-current version of this Privacy Policy will apply. Accordingly, each time you use the Application you should check the date of this Privacy Policy and review any changes since the last time you used the Application.

1. Children’s Privacy

Chess.ing does not solicit or knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected personally identifiable information from a child under 13, we will immediately delete such information from our database. Because we do not collect personally identifiable information from children under 13, we have no such information to use or disclose to third parties. We have designed this Privacy Policy in order to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information to us should contact us immediately at the contact information provided below.

We collect only the minimal personal information necessary to provide secure authentication and app functionality:

2.3 Automatically Collected Information (Traffic Data)

We automatically collect certain information when you use Chess.ing, including:

  • App and website usage analytics (time spent, features used, pages visited)
  • Technical information for app performance and debugging
  • General location data (country/region level only for regional features)
  • Browser type and version (for web application)
  • Referral source and clickstream data

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

Chess.ing does not collect:

  • Precise location data or GPS coordinates
  • Contacts or phonebook information

  • Microphone or audio recordings
  • Financial or payment information (we do not store payment card data)
  • Sensitive personal data (race, religion, political views, health information beyond what’s in our company name)

4.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data

OK2 HEALTH APPS LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate our Application:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase for secure data storage, authentication, app hosting, and analytics
    • Data is stored on secure Google servers
    • Subject to Google’s security and privacy standards
    • Data processing agreement in place
  • We may share information with companies that perform technical, administrative, and data processing tasks such as hosting, billing, fulfillment, data storage, and security

We may disclose your information when required by law or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

  • Respond to legal process (subpoenas, court orders, legal proceedings)
  • Protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and law enforcement requests
  • Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements
  • Investigate potential violations of our policies

4.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other sale of all or a portion of OK2 HEALTH APPS LLC’s assets, user information may be transferred as part of the business transaction. Other than to the extent ordered by a bankruptcy or other court, the use and disclosure of all transferred personal information will be subject to this Privacy Policy, or to a new privacy policy if you are given notice of that new privacy policy and an opportunity to opt-out of it.

4.5 Unpaid Accounts

If you fail to pay any balance owed for services, we may, as permitted by law, report your personal information, including your unpaid balance, to consumer credit reporting services, collection agencies, and others.

We implement and maintain reasonable security procedures and practices to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification, destruction, or disclosure of your personal information, including:

IMPORTANT: You hereby acknowledge that a catastrophic disk failure or other event could result in the loss of all data related to your account. You agree and understand that it is your responsibility to backup your data and ensure such backups are secure.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data using reasonable security measures.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for customer service purposes
  • Game data is retained to maintain game history and statistics as part of core app functionality
  • Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized data may be retained longer for app improvement purposes
  • Accounts inactive for more than 2 years may be deleted along with associated data

You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access and Update Your Information

You may access, review, and update your personal information through your account settings in the Application. We want your personal information to be complete and accurate. You represent and warrant that all information you provide will be complete and accurate, and that you will update that information as necessary to maintain its completeness and accuracy.

7.2 Data Access and Portability

You may request:

  • A copy of your personal data
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)
  • Information about how we process your data

7.3 Communication Preferences

  • Opt out of non-essential communications

You must promptly notify us if your credit card, bank account, other financial institution information, username, or password is lost, stolen, or used without permission. In such an event, we will remove that information from your account and update our records accordingly.

By registering with Chess.ing, you consent to receive periodic email communications regarding the services. As part of registration, you may also elect to receive periodic email communications regarding special offers and other promotions. You may opt-out of receiving promotional communications at any time by:

  • Following the unsubscribe instructions in each communication
  • Changing email preferences in your account settings
  • Contacting us directly

By completing and submitting information through Chess.ing, including contact forms, you consent to be contacted by OK2 HEALTH APPS LLC by email, telephone, or other method concerning your submission.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States through our use of Google Cloud Platform. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

10. Payment Processing

Chess.ing may integrate with third-party payment processors for in-app purchases and premium features:

  • Stripe for secure payment processing
  • Razorpay for payments in supported regions
  • App store payments through Google Play Store and Apple App Store

We do not store payment card information. All payment data is handled securely by our payment processors in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. Please review the privacy policies of these payment providers for information about how they handle your payment data.

11. Analytics and Third-Party Services

We use Firebase Analytics and other analytics services to understand app usage and improve our services. This may include:

  • App usage statistics and user behavior analysis

Chess.ing may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. OK2 HEALTH APPS LLC neither owns nor controls these third-party websites or services. Before visiting or providing personal information to any third-party website or service, you should inform yourself of their privacy policies and practices and take steps necessary to protect your privacy.

From time to time, we may conduct contests, giveaways, surveys, and other promotions. Any information submitted in connection with these activities will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Survey information will be used only in relation to that survey and disclosed to third parties only in aggregated form.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, OK2 HEALTH APPS LLC reserves the right, at any time, to add to, update, change, or modify this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any material changes by:

  • Displaying a prominent notice in the Application

Unless we obtain your express consent, any revised Privacy Policy will apply only to information collected after the effective date of such revised Privacy Policy, and not to information collected under any earlier Privacy Policy.
